About Us

For more than 40 years, Metex Manufacturing has served the fabrication needs of a diverse range of industries, including mining, pulp and paper, civil construction and energy.

Founded in 1980 as Copper Cliff Mechanical and Insulation, it serviced primarily the Northern Ontario Mining Industry. By 2000, the company had grown significantly, and was split into separate businesses, with the field installation division becoming CCM Contracting Ltd. and the fabrication division becoming Metex Manufacturing Ltd.

Capabilities

Metex Manufacturing is a ISO 9001 fabrication shop providing customers with custom Plate or Structural steel fabrication. Our in-house equipment allows us to fabricate practically any size component for industry from mining to equipment manufacturing.

All our welders are CWB certified. We design using AutoCAD and Solidworks, and are capable of fabricating for any project whether small or large.

We also offer machining and coating.
